These retreats are devoted to the practice of Samâ, a spiritual art that has lasted for more than 800 years.
Thanks to the poetic and spiritual trace left by Rûmi, a Persian mystic, the dance of the whirling dervishes still vibrates today and becomes a connecting tool to bring out our true self.

Transmitting for more than 10 years, the teaching of Rana Gorgani is not a dance course that trivializes the practice of Sufi Dance.
It is a total immersion in the Universe of Sufism.
Rana Gorgani opens the doors of ritual and shares a spirituality based on demands, perseverance, acceptance, surpassing oneself and the search for elevation.
This learning includes the transmission of the dance of the whirling dervishes, sacred music and songs as well as the sharing of Sufi thought.

IN THE ROOM :
In the practice room, only soft and comfortable clothes, solid color BLACK.
Black symbolizes the apprentice and recalls the idea of the cosmos and the infinite.
It is important to respect this advice which becomes a rule following disturbances related to the appearance as we seek physical work and inner development.
In practice, it is to the body that we pay all our attention and not to the clothing. We seek through this the unity and the revelation of the deep self.
It is also essential to respect the SILENCE inside the room, not social exchange or social interaction that could disrupt individual and group concentration.
You will also be asked to be present in the room 5 minutes before the start of the workshop which will start each day at the precise times indicated on the program distributed at the start of the retreat.
PARTICIPATION:
As indicated in the general conditions (attachment), it is essential that the participant undertakes a full PRESENCE during the transmission of the practice. In this transmission, there is a time of learning, a time of listening, a time of assimilation, a time of prayer and communion and a time of expression, all of this is retreat.
These times are built according to the energy of the group.
Presence from morning until evening is essential for group cohesion. It can be trying, tiring. It is about surpassing yourself and my role is to help you, carry you and support you.
It is a journey that awakens sensations and emotions. It is done together from start to finish.
BEFORE THE SEMINAR:
The week preceding the retreat, it is strongly advised to take rest, not to drink alcohol, to limit the existing ones in order to be in a state ready and available for the retirement.
VISUAL COMMUNICATION :
As indicated in the general conditions when you register online and as at each retreat, a professional may be present to take pictures.
Taking an image is essential and is part of the retreat.
This allows to keep a memory and to discover the Sufi dance allowing others to appreciate this practice.
Any photo or video is taken with respect for the individual and in accordance with the rules of the art of the image.
CELLPHONE :
No cell phone use is possible out of respect for practice and each of the participants.
Any urgent call must be made in the rooms so as not to disturb the need for calm and serenity of the other participants.
It is a retreat, an immersion, to take advantage of the present moment.
THE ROOMS :
SEPARATE MEN AND WOMEN
Couples will not share the same room. This will allow each person to fully live this experience for themselves and not to put any differentiation or privilege between the participants and especially for a better concentration of each.
MEALS :
Regarding meals, they will take place in SILENCE in order to preserve the energy, the serenity that one develops in the practice, the state of opening of the heart and the state of listening.
Meals are ritualized and everyone will participate in the smooth running of the ritual.
Before the meal, there will be a Sufi purification rite.
FREE TIME :
Of course, there are break times throughout the retreat and times after meals to chat, meet, share and discuss.

REGULATIONS:
Regarding the regulations, the balance must be paid at the start of retirement by check or cash.
If you wish to make a transfer, the transfers must be made upstream (please inform me by email before retirement of the confirmation of the transfer.
SHOP:
Small ephemeral shop From Iran and Turkey for each retreat: sale of music, Sufi skirts, Sufi slippers and dafs (Sufi percussion instruments).

TRAIN:
We pick up the participants at the station.
Please inform me of your arrival time if it is not indicated in your registration form.
If your arrival is late we will put you in contact with a taxi agency.
