DIALOGUE WITH SHAMS constitutes the first content of a reflection carried, through three stories of bodies, on the notion of the undesirable. Here, the choreographer guides the Iranian dancer Rana Gorganiin the writing of an imaginary dialogue with Shams, a wandering Persian mystic from the 13th century and great figure of Sufism. The woman's personal story intersects with political reflections on migratory routes, gender relations and biculturality.
