Under the powerful glow of the full moon, this online Sufi meditation is an invitation to dive into the sacred energy of the moment, through breathing, silence, movement and sacred singing.
This unique session includes the learning of Zikr, a core meditative practice in the Sufi tradition.
Zikr, which means “remembrance” in Arabic, is a fundamental spiritual practice in Sufism. It involves the repetitive invocation of divine names, sacred prayers, or meditative phrases, chanted or recited in rhythm, often accompanied by circular movements or gentle swaying of the body.

This repetition creates a deep vibration that soothes the mind, opens the heart, and allows one to reconnect with the divine essence. Zikr is regarded as a path to spiritual ecstasy (wajd), a state in which the ego dissolves, making way for union with the Sacred.
In the Sufi tradition, this practice can be individual or collective, accompanied by music and percussion, or performed in deep silence. It is a bridge between the body, the soul and the divine, a means of purifying the spirit and intensifying the presence in the moment.
The Zikr is above all an inner journey, a sacred breathing that reminds us that light resides in us at every moment.
