Au-delà des frontières artistiques, musicales et spirituelles, « Bach to Sufi Dance » propose une immersion dans un espace où le son et le mouvement s’enlacent et deviennent UN, à travers un moto perpetuo qui suspend le temps et apaise l’âme.

Depuis l’aube de l’humanité, la musique et la danse servent à induire des états extatiques pour entrer en contact avec le Sacré. Ici, les musiques de Bach et des rituels Soufis se voient unies par un ostinato de motifs répétitifs qui invitent le corps à la transe dans une spirale reflétant les mouvements du cosmos. Les deux artistes, unies dans le souffle de l’instant présent, s’abandonnent aussi à l’improvisation et à l’exploration de leurs instruments respectifs.

Beyond artistic, musical and spiritual boundaries, “Bach to Sufi Dance” offers an immersion in a space where sound and movement intertwine and become ONE, through a motorcycle perpetuo that suspends time and soothes the soul.

Since the dawn of humanity, music and dance have been used to induce ecstatic states to get in touch with the Sacred. Here, the music of Bach and Sufi rituals are united by an ostinato of repetitive motifs that invite the body to trance in a spiral reflecting the movements of the cosmos. The two artists, united in the breath of the present moment, also abandon themselves to improvisation and the exploration of their respective instruments.
